Music has always inspired our community and given it a voice; whether in our darkest moments or when it’s time to party. In this year’s summer show, the Amsterdam Gay Men’s Chorus presents ‘ICONOGRAPHY’ celebrating musical icons of queer culture, and what they’ve brought to our lives, and to our community. From Whitney Houston to the Pet Shop Boys, via Sam Smith, Liza Minnelli and (of course) the Queen of Pop, we’ll take our audience through the bars, disco halls and underground clubs that have brought these musical icons to life, and given us a place to be our true selves. We look forward to welcoming family, friends, allies and everyone from the community for a fabulous journey through ICONOGRAPHY!
